On Friday my kids and I attended the first day of The Big One, a climate justice action in Parliament Square in London. The goal was to get 100,000 people to Westminster to make politicians hear public opinion about a lack of decisive, prompt government action on climate justice issues.
It was raining for the early part of the day, so everyone who turned up showed commitment in my book! But was the protest the disruptive affair the tabloids claimed it would be?
